BronyCAN will once again be at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre, located in the heart of downtown Richmond. Based to the south of Vancouver, the hotel is surrounded by some recognisable sites, including the packed Richmond Centre Mall, the famous Richmond Olympic Oval and the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Also doubling as a convention centre, it’s known for its world class 4-star rating and offers conference seating up to 800, 230 guest suites, 70 apartment rentals, 2 restaurants and a pub. Operated by a superb staff, the Executive is a prime spot to come together.
Use the promo code “BronyCAN” and you can book a room at a reduced rate, as well as free parking each night, high-speed Wi-Fi internet, and access to the airport shuttle. Book alone or with your friends/family, and you’ll only be steps away from the excitement at the convention!
MAIN HOTEL SOLD OUT!
Unfortunately our primary location is now sold out of hotel rooms over the convention weekend, though that can only mean that BronyCAN 2014 is shaping up to be even bigger than before! (Note: this does not mean that the convention itself is sold out, only hotel rooms in the main hotel.) We are currently working with other hotels in the area to secure a second group booking code for our attendees to use. We will also post up any rooms that become available at the Executive, as soon as we find them. For up-to-date information on both our main and secondary hotels, please keep an eye on either this page, or our social media accounts.
You may also reserve your room by calling locally at 604-278-5555 or toll free at 1-800-663-2878. Just don’t forget to mention the promo code “BronyCAN”! Inquiries about hotel rooms, such as cancellations, should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those not staying at the Executive, we have secured a flat rate parking fee of $5, less than half what a full day’s parking cost last year! Please talk to the front desk to pay for parking if you are not a guest at the Executive. Parking outside using the meters will be significantly more expensive.

Getting to the Venue
The most reliable way to reach the Executive is through Vancouver’s iconic SkyTrain. For schedules, fares and trip planning, please visit the TransLink website.
For those traveling by car, you can reach Richmond from either Highway 99 from the north and south or Highway 91 from the east. Parking at the venue is included in the cost of your room if you are staying at the Executive, otherwise attendees will pay a flat rate of $5 per day.
Downtown Richmond is chock full of restaurants, eateries and markets for your convenience. From inside the Executive to across the street from down the road, there are plenty of places to sit back, relax, and recuperate after a long day’s romp. Those facing cash shortages need not fret, as there are ATMs available in the area. The convention booklet, which attendees will receive when collecting their badges, will contain a map of the local area with restaurants and other useful facilities noted.
There are no officially-endorsed travel arrangements that we can announce at this time.
We will be on the lookout for promotions or deals from major Canadian and American transport services that travel to and from Vancouver.
Please note that BronyCAN is not responsible for any arrangements put together by third-party services, unless otherwise noted.
The Executive Airport Plaza Hotel is located 1 block north and 4 blocks west of the Richmond-Brighouse SkyTrain Station. Those who are in need of ride to the venue need only catch the 401 bus at Bay 2, located to the right of the station entrance as you exit. Get off at the Alderbridge Way stop to reach the venue.
The final Canada Line SkyTrain from Richmond leaves around 12:45 AM. Attendees who use transit are advised to leave well ahead of time, no less than 30 minutes ahead of the last train. This should allow enough time to reach your intended station. For times regarding the entire system, please visit the TransLink website.
